As an artist coming from a background in visual arts, while working and creating in the field of sound, Antonina Nowacka mostly interested in building imaginary and visionary narratives with a use of musical tools. Her compositions are mostly around own voice as well as synthetic sounds, various instruments, space and resonance. When the voice comes out it is a substantially wordless, vibrating field of frequencies that Antonina likes to sculpt into vibrant and harmonious melodies.
Antonina is fascinated in discovering unique qualities of the sound that are related to atmospheres and moods of haziness, fatigue, radiance, vulnerability and resembling dream-like states. In her practice she is primarily inspired by hypnagogic experiences between being awake and asleep, vast landscapes, peculiar organic formations, old traditions and rituals of different cultures, ancient architecture, symbolism and surrealism.
Her works are resulting from frequent research travels to different countries and continents, where she learns new techniques and approaches towards diverse instruments, for the most part reshaping her voice with new ways of articulation, depending on the particular vision and circumstances. Those include recorded audio and live performances, as well as meditative sonic seances to induce altered states of consciousness through special sonic qualities. The direction is towards the mystery and poetry of nature, the marvels of the unknown and the longing for spirituality in the contemporary fast-paced world. Being mesmerized by the possibilities of the sound as a medium to influence a mind and a body, the fact that it is invisible and is speaking directly to the world of imagination.

Greta Ona is an interdisciplinary artist working with sound, performance, and installation, exploring the subtle exchanges between bodies, environments, and technology. Her practice unfolds through attentive listening — to signals, vibrations, errors, and materials that often go unnoticed. Through sound and moving image, she investigates how presence emerges beyond the visible, and how matter, memory, and perception resonate together.
Blending organic and synthetic elements, Greta Ona creates immersive environments where the line between human and nonhuman begins to blur. Using voice, field recordings, glass, and DIY electronic instruments, she shapes delicate, shifting spaces that oscillate between intimacy and distance, reflection and disruption. Her works invite audiences to step into fragile, evolving realms where perception, memory, and presence intertwine.
— feeling toxic one day, I decided to bloom.
Toxic Bloom is an experimental sound performance exploring the symbiotic relationship between the human and the cyanobacteria — a hybrid entity emerging from ecological and emotional toxicity. Using lyre, field recordings, DIY synthesizers, and extended vocal techniques, the performance gives voice to microbial life, translating invisible ecological processes into sonic and embodied experience. It is both a ritual of contamination and connection — where the boundary between human and algae begins to dissolve and toxicity shifts into a form of blooming.
